This Cookie Policy is an integral part of the Privacy Notice of the website banche.roma.it (hereinafter the “Site”) and is drafted pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and of the Order of the Italian Data Protection Authority no. 231 of June 10, 2021 titled “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools“.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites the user visits send to the user’s device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored, to then be sent back to those sites on subsequent visits. Similar technologies (e.g. pixel tags, local storage, fingerprinting) may be used to collect information on the user’s behavior and use of the services.
Types of cookies used on the Site
1. Technical cookies (no consent required)
These are necessary for the proper functioning of the Site and do not require consent. They include session cookies for navigation, security cookies (anti-abuse, WAF) and cookies that store the user’s consent preferences regarding other cookies.
2. Analytics cookies
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (property G-92HZQFF657) with IP anonymization, for aggregated statistical purposes. These cookies are activated only after the user gives consent via the banner. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
3. Profiling and advertising cookies (third parties)
The Site displays advertisements through the Google AdSense program (publisher ID ca-pub-6269640194703131). Google and its partners use cookies and identifiers to deliver, measure and personalize ads. These cookies are activated only upon the user’s consent. Without consent, ads may be served in a non-personalized mode.

Consent management (CMP)
The Site collects and manages the user’s consent through Google’s Consent Management Platform (CMP) (Funding Choices), certified under the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2 standard. The CMP integrates with Google Consent Mode v2: until the user provides consent, Google Analytics and Google AdSense tags are set with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage to denied.
On the first visit to the Site a banner is shown that lets you:
- Consent: enables all cookies described in this policy.
- Manage options: lets you choose granularly by purpose and by individual partner (IAB TCF vendors).
The updated list of partners that process data on a TCF basis can be consulted directly from the “Manage options” panel of the banner, or on the IAB Europe — Global Vendor List website.
How to change or withdraw consent
The user can change or withdraw the consent given at any time:
- by deleting the Site’s cookies from their browser (the banner will reappear on the next visit);
- through the dedicated “Manage consent” link made available by the Google CMP;
- by changing the cookie settings of their browser (see the next section).
